Grade 8 Bursaries
Duja Consulting is reaching out on behalf of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.
We would like to inform you that nominations are open from 26 January 2026 to 27 February 2026.
Applications are currently open for Gauteng, Free State, North West, and Limpopo.
Please note that nominations are conducted through school principals.
The scholarship is not open to the public and is available by invitation only.
We kindly ask that you check with your child’s school for further information regarding the nomination process
The scholarship is aimed at Grade 7 female students who attend Quintile 1–3 schools, as well as Quintile 4 schools where learners are exempted from paying school fees.
The programme is designed for learners who will be entering Grade 8 in 2027 and who meet the following criteria:
- Academic Excellence: A minimum of 70% in both Mathematics and English
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership skills
- Residency: Legal citizenship of South Africa
- Financial Need: Combined household income of R10,000 or less per month
